This distinctive, dark tan butternut has a loyal following among customers, who often ask for it by name. Honeynut is later-maturing, so plant early to achieve best tan coloration. If stored green, fruits will eventually ripen to tan in storage. Developed by the Vegetable Breeding Institute at Cornell University. Avg. weight: 1/2–1 1/2 lb.
