3.5” pot, Valeriana officinalis
Valerian is spicy, bitter and warming and is used most often for insomnia, stress and anxiety, menstrual cramps and pain relief. The plants grows as a clump in its first year and shoots up a flower in its second season. Harvest the root in the fall or spring.
